Perhaps that rate would make the show so choppy if people tried to listen via "play now" links? Maybe that was Carla's issue? I always download mp3's and then play them on an mp3 player (such as an iphone or ipod -- I actually prefer the usb thumb drive mp3 players ;) so that's why it really doesn't matter to me what the bandwidth capacity is.
